February 28, 2026 – HOOVER, Ala. – President Donald J. Trump (R) has authorized military strikes on Iran. Congressional candidate Case Dixon announced that he opposes the war with Iran.
“I oppose war with Iran,” said Dixon in a statement. “Last summer, the American people were told that Operation Midnight Hammer “Obliterated” Iran’s nuclear capabilities and set the program back years. Now we are told we have begun major combat operations because Iran was allegedly a week away from “industrial-grade bomb making materials”. The American people deserve a clear explanation of how both of those claims can be reconciled.”
Dixon is running against incumbent Congressman Gary Palmer (R-Hoover) in the Sixth Congressional District. Dixon is part of a growing isolationist movement within the Republican Party.
