Gary Palmer Must Sign Epstein Files Discharge Petition — Victims Deserve Justice, Not Cover-Ups

Hueytown, AL — Case Dixon, Republican candidate for U.S. Congress in Alabama’s 6th District, is calling on his opponent, Congressman Gary Palmer, to join Rep. Thomas Massie’s discharge petition to bring the Epstein Files Transparency Act to the House floor. The petition is only two Republican signatures away from forcing a vote.

“This is not a partisan issue — it is a moral one,” said Dixon. “The victims of Jeffrey Epstein’s abuse have been denied justice for far too long. Every day Congress delays, powerful predators remain protected and survivors are denied closure. Money, power, and influence must never shield anyone from the full force of the law. No member of Congress should be complicit in a cover-up.”

Dixon said he was deeply moved this morning after watching the press conference hosted by Rep. Thomas Massie and Rep. Ro Khanna, where victims spoke publicly about their abuse, trauma, and need for justice. “Hearing directly from these victims made it painfully clear: Congress cannot keep hiding behind politics and excuses. These survivors deserve the truth, and they deserve closure. The time for action is now.”

The Epstein Files Transparency Act would unseal thousands of pages of evidence related to Epstein’s network — evidence that could expose who enabled his crimes and how far his influence reached. Dixon argued that refusing to sign the petition is effectively protecting the powerful at the expense of the innocent.

“As the father of two young daughters, I find it shameful that members of my own party are looking the other way because they’re worried about backlash from powerful people or the GOP establishment,” Dixon continued. “If I were the representative for Alabama’s 6th District, I would sign this petition without hesitation. Congressman Palmer must forget the politics, forget the optics, and do the right thing. Justice is more important than protecting the powerful.”

Dixon reaffirmed his support for President Donald J. Trump when he is right on policy but did not mince words about Trump’s comments on Epstein. “On this issue, the President is wrong. Calling the Epstein revelations a hoax dishonors victims and minimizes real crimes. Republicans should be the voice of reason here, not the roadblock.”

Dixon concluded: “Justice delayed is justice denied. Congressman Palmer must decide — will he stand with the victims, or will he stand with the powerful?”
