Case Dixon Says Epstein Files Vote Is a Win for Victims, Slams Palmer for “Waiting on Permission”

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

November 18, 2025

Hueytown, AL — Case Dixon, Republican candidate for U.S. Congress in Alabama’s 6th District, issued the following statement regarding the House vote to release the full Epstein files:

I applaud the House for passing this bill. It is one step closer to accountability for perpetrators and one step closer to justice for victims,” Dixon said. This vote should have happened months ago,” he continued. “The victims in this case have spent far too long waiting for good people to do the right thing. The American people have also been in the dark for too long about who enabled Epstein, who protected him, and who helped him operate.”

Dixon said the stakes of the vote go far beyond political maneuvering.

If someone helped a pedophile — I don’t care if they’re a billionaire, a foreign ally, or a well-connected politician — they should face the full consequences of the law,” he said. “There can’t be one standard for regular people and another for the powerful. This is about justice, not party politics.

Dixon was sharply critical of how his opponent in the upcoming GOP primary handled the issue.

Gary Palmer had every opportunity to help move this forward. He didn’t lift a finger for months and refused to sign Rep. Massie’s discharge petition to bring this to the floor for a vote,” Dixon said. “But the minute the President flipped his stance, suddenly it was safe to vote yes. We don’t need folks in Washington that are so afraid of party leadership that they won’t stand up for what’s right in the face of opposition

Dixon closed by emphasizing that accountability must come before political loyalty.

This vote wasn’t about loyalty to a president. It was about whether you believe the truth should come out no matter who it implicates,” he said. “If I’m elected, I’ll call it how it is and I won’t wait for permission to do the right thing — especially something as serious as child trafficking. The victims deserve better. The country deserves better. And Alabama deserves better.
