The Republican primary opponent for six term Hoover U.S. Rep. Gary Palmer (R-6) is getting some serious backing from the Alabama Republican Assembly, an organization that calls themselves the “Conscience of the Republican Party.” They have endorsed political newcomer Case Dixon, who qualified for the May 19th party primary earlier this year to challenge Palmer.
“I am honored to receive the endorsement of the Alabama Republican Assembly,” Dixon said in a press release. “The ALRA represents the conscience of our party—grassroots conservatives who demand limited government, adherence to the Constitution and ethical leadership. Their endorsement sends a clear message that Alabama Republicans are ready for principled, accountable representation in Washington.”
